You can buy a private property once you have met your 5-year Minimum Occupation Period (MOP). Your children will need to be at least 21-years-old to take over the condominiums. On top of that, they must have the ability to finance the mortgage. You may incur a Seller's Stamp Duty (SSD) and a Buyer's Stamp Duty (BSD) when you transfer the two condominiums to your children.

Under the current HDB policies, you are allowed to buy a private property after meeting the MOP period.
As long as you own a property in your name, the new purchase will attract Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD).
However, you may buy under Trust which is a different scenario.

Singapore Citizens household will be eligible to purchase private residential properties upon meeting the Minimum Occupation Period for their HDB. The key in purchasing the private residential property as their 2nd and subsequent residential properties will incur Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty of 12% and 15% respectively. Since you are planning to only purchase after paying off your existing home loan, your loan eligibility can be up to 75% of the value of purchase with respect to income and age of the purchaser, therefore a proper financial plan should be in place before you execute this investment plan.

Yes its possible for Singaporean households to buy condos while keeping their resale HDB as long as their MOP are met and finances are comfortable. Do note the ABSD of 12% applies for 2nd property, and also cpf usage for 2nd property has some restrictions.

This is feasible, however you will need to pay Additional Buyer Stamp Duties when purchasing 2nd and 3rd property. It may not be financially sensible to pay the hefty ABSD as you will need several years of rental income just to recover the ABSD.

However, do take note that ABSD applies. The current rate is 12% for Singaporean's second property purchase.
Hence, your plan is feasible, but probably not advisable as 12% is quite hefty. If you have the ready funds to pay for ABSD, I would like to make a better proposal for your consideration.
