My husband and I are separated. He got his own HDB flat before we got married. My question is am I able to buy my own hdb flat during our divorce proceedings? I’m not even an occupant in his sole HDB flat. I’m 38 and I have 2 kids with me which I’m eligible for HDB but not quite sure if I’m able to during separation.

Good evening,

As long as the final court order is out, you will not be eligible to purchase a unit under your name, without getting your ex-spouse involved. I would suggest that you wait for it before moving forward so that things will have a clear cut.
