My friend want to rent out his house but he do not know how to rent out.can he direct rent out to tenant without Agent HDB?

Hi Michael,

Yes he can, but isn't he taking a risk to rent out by himself if he does not even know the regulations? In the first place, has your friend fulfilled the minimum occupation period if any and obtained the necessary approval for renting out his unit?

Perhaps engaging a qualified salesperson would be a better idea.
