My current condo unit is joint tenancy with my wife. The loan is redeemed , so no outstanding. No CPF either, so that title is free.
I now want to sell my share of that unit to my wife , but 0 consideration (money). Do I have to engage a law firm, or can I do it myself with SLA through any online form ?

Hi Mr. Pawan,

Yes its best to engage a law firm to do so and I can make recommendation. Do note the relevant stamp duties will still apply (for the market value of share amount transferred).

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Warm Regards,

Hi Mr Pawan, yes you still need to get in touch with a lawyer to handle the paperwork.

Good day Mr Pawan Bhargava .

It cannot be done by self help unless you are a lawyer .

Next point you need to note , despite gifting the house to her at zero consideration , 3% stamp duty on the part share gift is still payable , based on the MARKET VALUE .

Alternatively you may want to sell the present property and each buy a property individually , if i assume correctly that you wish to have 2 property somewhat .

Kindly contact me joanne chia 8333 3327  for a no obligations chat for your property needs .

My charges are 1% commission for exclusive selling rights ( sole agent ) to your condo , or 2% for open listing (many agent) .

No commission chargeable when i serve private property buyers .

Dear sir,

Yes, you will need to engage a lawyer on this part sale, and relevant stamp duties will be applicable in this case on top of the conveyancing fees.

Should you require any contacts, feel free to get in touch with me and I can point you to a qualified source of contact to assist in your case.
