depend on your size. if your unit is like my investment unit in town 1 bedroom unit. i will recommend you to full fitted the unit before renting it out. if is suburban of 2 or 3 bedroom. leave it vacant see what is the tenants need and want before you decide to do anything. Read More

Hi David, usually for newly TOP condo, I would advice my landlord to market it as partial furnished. Reason is because there are many tenant out there who already have their own furnitures and that's why the probability of having your unit rented out will be faster as compared to fully furnished. And if a potential tenant wanted it to be fully furnished, then we go on and increase the rental price by negotiating with the tenant. Hi,

It depends on the profile of tenants you are seeking. Families will probably have some form of furniture they want to bring along, so they may not need the furniture provided. There are also other ways we can discuss to maximize the rental yield you are getting. May I understand your requirements further before sharing more?

Hi David,

I would advise you to do up the basics like installing day and night curtain for the windows and sliding glass and the basic lights for the unit. Do not need to do fanciful ones, perhaps something that looks decent and neutral will do. For the remaining options, keep it open and allow tenants to discuss with you further. If washing machine and dryer as well as refrigerator is not included, perhaps it will also be good to provide as of now but do not need to rush into getting the latter items. If you are able to provide more information of your unit available, I maybe able to match it with a Korean tenant who will be flying in from UAE this Tuesday.
