My boyfriend and i are getting married end of the year but our budget is quite tight of around 700k only so i guess we can only buy one bedder at this point of time.We looking at ready/resale condo near town(cos of work)as we need a place to stay after getting marry especially now the price is quite attractive to us before it goes up.We intend to sell off few years later after we have kid or when the prices move up to buy HDB.Dear experts,Is this workable?If so,we need to buy soon in order not to miss the boat.

Hi,

Yes I have met clients who have gone through a similar route, but for 1 bedder its better to get a city fringe location so there will be resale demand and potential capital appreciation. It will be good to look out for locations where there are growth catalysts and infrastructure plans for the locality.
