Hi Nat,

Based on your description, I suppose your tenancy agreement is a private agreement between yourself and the landlord, thus, the landlord is only obliged to honour your agreement and free to look for new tenants, revise the rental fees, sell the apartment or keep it vacant according to their own discreet upon the expiry of agreement. Your options could be to negotiate an extension of lease with the existing landlords with terms and conditions or look for another place of accomodation according to your rental requirements.
