Morning Gurus, I am a tenant renting an entire flat from the landlord. Due to certain unforeseen circumstances, a situation arose whereby my sister, her child and her maid needs to stay with me for a few months. I have checked that even with the 3 extra occupants, we would not breach any maximum occupancy for the 3 room flat I am renting. My questions are: a) If the tenancy agreement only has a clause that I have to inform the landlord of any temporary occupants, does the landlord have a legal right to refuse this; b) If there is no explicit exit clause in the agreement for the landlord, can he terminate the agreement on this basis; and c) If yes, how many months notice must the landlord give me to search for a new place to rent (if not explicitly stated in the agreement)? Thanks!
