By the way, cheap does not equate to good buy and further more, rental price is slowly coming down since early this year and by the 3rd or the 4th quarter of this year, it could even be back to pre covid situation.

1) There are various factors to consider when coming to property investment, namely:
(a) location.
(b) Current and projected rental rate.
(c) Conditions of the property and the necessary repairs or renovations that need to be made.
(d) Your available budget.

2) Once you find out the essential information about the property then you could make an informed decision.
3) Instead of listening to hearsay. I would suggest you meet up with a real estate agent that could assist in your investment.
4) You shall be able to determine your budget and understand the current and past rental rates with the agent. He could also give you better options for consideration.
5) You will still have to visit various properties to determine the conditions and the necessary expense needed though.
