Asked by
Me and my Husband (both SPR) are looking to buy a private condo as investment and the property will be under his name as I have already owned a private property. (To avoid 10% ADSB). Since the property will be under his name with us sharing the down payment,: Is there any clause I can add into the agreement to protect myself in case of unforeseen circumstances? TQ!

Evening,

In order to avoid ABSD, neither can your name cannot be added as one of the owner or be used to obtain mortgage loan. Therefore, the sole ownership will belong to your husband.

Dear Mdm,

Re: Today’s SG Professional Choice- SGAgent.com & SGRealtor.com

Nothing much, even your husband draft an legal doc to give half of the property to you but you still not lawful owner. Your husband still can terminate the legal doc and evicted you out of the property at wills for this property.
