Me and my housemates rented this flat last 2019 (2yrs contract). The contract will end this year October however i wanted to leave next month July because i’m having issues with my housemates. I gave them 1 month notice (both the landlord and main tenant), however they are asking me to pay the remaining 3 months rent to finish the lease. Eventhough we altogether move in in this house, i’m not the main tenant and i’m only listed as an occupant in the TA. Do i really need to pay the 3months rent?
