Is there anything I can do if I moved in to a flat which is unbearably noisy due to MRT and the landlord is refusing any help with soundproofing the main door? The main issue it the noise in the evening which continues till 12.30AM. We had no idea that would be so noisy and causing so much stress to us. The landlord is refusing to do anything bc "we should know that" considering how close is the MRT station. We did try to soundproof the door by ourselves but it didn't do much. We are very affected by the situation. We go to sleep with the last train and wake up with the first train. It's a reall struggle. Any advice is welcome!
