The same salesperson is not allowed to collect from both landlord and tenant. If there are 2 salespersons (1 represent landlord and the other represent tenant) from the same agency, it is okay to collect but they are required to declare this to bith landlord and tenant.

    Thank you for your reply. I saw an ad on propertyguru and sent a message saying I am interested to view a rental unit. The salesperson say I will have to pay 0.5 month commission if I want to rent, and the landlord will pay 0.5 month. Why did the salesperson say so if this is not allowed? What should I do in this case?
