Is the diplomatic clauses applicable when 2 tenants sharing a 2rm flat, and only one of them EP got cancelled?
The landlord asked us the find replacement for bedroom instead of the entire flat, otherwise won't return the deposit. Is it correct of not?

Dear Lemon,

We will be unable to advise in this situation as we do not know if there is any diplomatic clause mentioned in your tenancy agreement and if you have fulfilled the terms and conditions of the tenancy agreement to exercise the diplomatic clause.

Look into the details and act accordingly. If you have further doubts, I believe you should be able to look for the salesperson who have brokered this rental deal on your behalf.
