It takes approximate 10 weeks from date we submit the resale application (assuming that the transaction is approved and there is no lack of documents submitted) to the final completion day. Take note that the above does not include the marketing period.

To effectively kickstart your marketing campaign, sellers will be required to log into the HDB Resale Portal using their Singpass to indicate their Intent To Sell.

As Tanjong Pagar is located in the central region, the demand for units in this area is high, nevertheless, the main concern could be the decaying lease where if your unit is 1 of those blocks with less than 60years left on the lease, it can get potentially challenging to locate a purchaser due to CPF withdrawal and loan restriction issues for your buyer.

Tanjong Pagar is a prime location and although the prices are higher, there are still a healthy pool of buyers who are looking for a unit in this area. They are made up of mainly private property downgraders who are able to afford to pay a higher price for a HDB there.
