Is it true that it is harder to sell a house during Hungry Ghost Festival? Why?

Afternoon,
That's not true as transactions still does take place during the festival. If you are talking about toughest period to sell a unit, that would be during Christmas and CNY.

Nope, not true. As long as unit is priced right, it will move off the resale shelf.

I am Bryan from ERA. From my experience and understanding, quite a lot buyers especially Chinese do not want to view or enter other people's houses during Hungry Ghost Festival, or wish to be back home early due to superstition belief. This result in lesser viewings during this period.
