Is it true that if the house rent is greater than S$3k (2 yr lease) then agent comission is paid by house owner and the tenant need not pay (saw this on some websites)?

Dear Anonymous,

This is applicable only for the salesperson who published the contents on the website. I will typically charge a half month rental fees as commission excluding GST for any rental under 1 year. If rental is above 1 year and below 2 years, I will charge 1 month rental fees excluding GST.
