Is it common/standard practise to include Helper’s name in the tenancy agreement as an occupant? or is it generally only the family members as long as the landlord is informed about it? thanks for any advise.

I usually include in so as to prevent any misunderstandings. It's better for both parties. Since your helper has a work pass, landlord will need to know of the expiry also to abide with guidelines.
