Is it common practise for a tenant to be responsible for ongoing maintenance of the AC system or is this the responsibility of the land lid?

At the end of the tenancy is the tenant responsible for a professional clean and to have all curtains dry cleaned?

Evening Damian,

Air-con servicing requirement have being stated within your TA. As for the curtains, you might want to refer back to the same document which you have signed.

    I haven't signed the contract yet, I am asking these terms to be removed but they tell me they are standard in Singapore, I am asking are they standard or can I get them removed from the TA?

Dear Mr Damian,

Yes, it is a common practise but not a standard practise. Chances are if you decided against it, the probability of you securing a unit for rent will significantly reduce. Need any assistance?
