is it advisable to get a recently TOP condo or purchase a new launch? i am thinking of renting out my hdb and stay in the new condo,not so keen in waiting for a new launch as it would take time to get my rental from my hdb. would it be more expensive for a recently TOP condo in the same area compared to a new launch with almost the same amenities and floor area in the same district?

Morning Jeremy,

new launch is always cheaper than a recently TOP development if both of them are comparable in amenities/ floor area/ district etc.

If you prefers not to wait, oh well a recently TOP development might be your choice.

If you can wait, there will be a good chance of capital appreciation on your purchase during the process of construction till TOP (if you buy it when it first launched)

It's your call.

Btw you have to be mindful that if you have any outstanding housing loan when you purchase another property. you are only able to loan up to 60%.
