I'm thinking of upgrading from my current Jurong West (st 65) HDB to chestervale (prev EC). Is there any unit within my S$600k budget?
What are the costs (stamp, agent fee etc)and CPF requirements involved?

My main goal is not to involve any cash from my end of possible.

Thanks.

Hi Ed,

If your goal is not to involve any cash payment, i would advise you to sell your JW flat first. With the cash in hand, then you can use that to pay the 5% option fee, remaining 15% can be paid using CPF.

However, to do that, you need to make some intermediate housing arrangement to stay during the transition stage. Maybe move into parent or relative's place for couple of months.

For chestervale, based on recent transaction price and current asking price, you may need to fork out slightly more than $600k.

Please call me at 96836230  or email me at anderang@hotmail.com if you wish to discuss further. I would be glad to assist you in both selling of HDB flat and buying of EC.

Thanks,
