I'm staying in Yishun 5 mins walk from MRT & surrounded by amenities. How much can a common room be rented out for? Aircon (night time only) and wifi, no cooking. What must I provide to the tenant. Do I have to leave it vacant or can my current wardrobe be locked up and i provide another wardrobe for them as I still need the storage space. Also who does the maintaining works of the common toilet n the rented room? How much is commission to the agent for a 1 year contract.

Good morning,

With an existing wardrobe in the room, it will make the livable space smaller. Depending on the room size, the asking rental will be around $600 to $700. As for the maintenance aspect, the tenants are to be accountable for the common toilet and their room. As for the commission payable, one year lease would render half month rental worth.
