You do not need to wait for completion of MOP before renting out a room.
There are 2 ways of doing:
(a) DIY: search for any DIY portal on website and do your own marketing, scheduling of viewing, contact with potential tenant. Read up all rules and regulations to ensure do not rent out to illegal immigrants.
(b) Engage an agent to assist you to do everything else other than deciding your rental rate.
