With an amount of $140k/ CPF, you might be able to afford a $500k property taking into account 20% downpayment, 3% buyer's stamp duty and 5% additional buyer's stamp duty as a SPR buyer. I am pretty certain that you are not able to purchase any resale property with this budget. But have you thought of buying a new launch? Most new launches will be ready in 3 years time.
