wife is essential occupier
after mop, if i sell my bto away

1) can my wife buy a new bto on her own with me as essential occupier? if yes, we will subject to a new 5 years mop. any resale levy need to pay?

2) after my wife newly purchased bto mop passed, i can buy private property without ABSD as i have no property?

Hi,

Resale levy is applicable in this case, and you will also need to fulfill a new 5-year MOP for the new BTO flat before either of you can purchase another residential property.

There is no ABSD payable if a Singaporean purchase the first residential property.
