I'm quite confused so I need some clarification regarding the commission and the agent fee, the flat owner engages an agent and the potential tenant also has an agent, when both parties have agreed, the tenant will also pay the agent's fee aside from the good faith and security deposit. Is the agent fee similar to the commission? Will they share it? Or the commission for the tenant's agent is a separate thing?

Morning,

Security deposit is a deposity which will be returned to you, upon the expire of your lease. It's also used to offset and damages you might have have caused to the unit, during your stay.
If you have a salesperson representing you, you only need to pay your salesperson, and not the landlord's salesperson as well. Agent fee is agent's commission.
