I'm looking at a 2nd property for investment. I have 2 options. 1 is to buy a development that is next to the MRT, e.g. Bishan, AMK, Jurong East. The other is in East Coast/Tanjong Rhu area. I reckon the pricing psf for both areas should be quite similar. Which unit will fetch a higher rental?

Hi V,

In term of investment for rental return, below are some pointers that i would like to highlight.

1) usually 99 yrs lease will have higher return than freehold

2) buy new launch or project that are less than 5 years old, because new project is more attractive to tenant compare to old project. Secondly, easier to sell after 5 years.

3)buy project with full condo facilities
