I'm local born SG citizen,single,56yrs.(F). works in USA for many years.Looking for 2-3rms(resale flats) around Taman Ho See/Jln BT.Ho Swee.Need a loan with the lowest interests.Annual yearly income amt US$35,000. Heard SG govt.grants for single's buyer S$15,000? How much my own cash upfront payment for all expenses & charges should I pay? How many years of loan Can I get? Tenure of years left from resale property if interested? How can I settle those paper works when I am here in the States? Thank u so much!

Good morning! Due to income ceiling of $5k SGD, you will not be eligible to take up the HDB grant of $15k SGD under Single Singapore Citizen scheme. Due to your income, you only be eligible to take up bank loan. You should be eligible to take up 80% loan to retirement age of 65 years old in Singapore. If you are keen to take a longer loan tenure, bank might only be eligible to loan you up to 60%. Nevertheless, do let communicate with my panel of bankers to advise you on your loan quantum and packages. Upfront cash outlay could be: - Cash over valuation - 20% downpayment (5% cash 15% cpf) if able to take 80% loan - buyer's stamp duty - resale submission - valuation - agent's commission If you are referring to Bukit Ho Swee, they are left with around 56 years. The paperworks can be couriered to you and you might need to appoint a power of authority to attend and sign documents on your behalf for two HDB appointments. Hope it helps!     About the two HDB appointments; do I need to go down personally for those interviews or just using my power of attorney? Moreover, I did check on my CPF; was told there isn't any money to use it to purchase a resale flat at all. Thank u so much for the advise & opinions, u've given me in a prompt response!
