Good afternoon! Do take note that you will be subject to additional buyer's stamp duty of 15% if you are purchasing alone but if you purchase it with your spouse as the first property, IRAS will treat it as your matrimonial home thus no ABSD is payable. Only normal estimated 3% buyers stamp duty. And as a foreigner, you are only eligible to purchase 1) condo, 2) apartments and 3) landed (only applicable for Sentosa). Hope it helps! Hello! For this circumstances, there's no restriction on you buying a Condo here in Singapore. There's only a 15% Additional Buyer Stamp Duty that you have to pay on top of your property price. Hi, I am not sure where you read the article from. For foreigner, there is no restriction that you cannot buy a private condo. There are many foreigners coming to Singapore to buy condo. Good evening, may I know where did you read that restriction from?Normally a SC spouse can apply long term social visit pass for his foreigner spouse to stay in Singapore. As long as you have a valid pass to stay in Singapore, you won't be violated any immigration regulations. Read More
