I'm a 31 year old, soon-to-be MBA student in Singapore. I've been accepted into an MBA program that starts in January 2021.

It seems like I will be able to apply for and receive my student's visa some time in November, about two months before the program starts. However, I will probably come to Singapore sooner, perhaps as soon as September or October.

My question is whether I will be able to rent an apartment before I officially get my student's visa. Is being admitted into a program enough to rent a property in Singapore?
