If I intend to sell our HDB flat to open market as we plan to move to other country. Does the whole process of selling must be complete before our SPR is expired?

Afternoon Carol, SPR status does not expire, but your re-entry permit does. I have handled a few cases where the owners are selling to move back to their countries due to the non-renewal of re-entry permit or they have their PR renounced.
