Good evening,

Upon fulfilling MOP, you are eligible to add your name into the ownership of the private property. But I would advice against it as you will incur ABSD.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Hi,

(1) Upon listing your wife into HDB as essential occupier (since she is your spouse), she has to dispose off her private property within 6 months.
So there are no discussion of keeping the 2 properties in question.

(2) Unless your resale flat bought had met 5yrs MOP, then she is allowed to keep the private property.

(3) If your current flat has meet MOP, you may add your name to the private condo, which is also in another way of increasing your property from one (HDB) to two (pte).
Therefore subject to ABSD of 7%.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
