Afternoon,

Renting your unit through multiple agents would result in price war. The agent who can close your unit at the fastest rate would get the meat. This would not do you any justice. The public and salesperson, available in the market, gets the listing source from common channels.
Hence getting a specific salesperson to assist you would bring in more commitment.

Hi GG,

For rental, my advise is to keep to a maximum 3 agents to market for you, especially so if the unit available for rent is private property where the network of tenants is important. No doubt there maybe a likelihood of price war but it is likely that rental will close according to market rate so unlike a sales transaction where price difference could be more than tens of thousands, rental price difference is likely to be less than that an should your unit be in good condition, I am pretty sure tenants will have no hesitation in taking up the rental at a reasonable rate.

If I do have the opportunity to assist you in marketing, do give me a call or email.
