Good morning!

Yes you can rent out your unit be it decoupled by part purchase or way of gift but lease will still be subject to HDB approval.

Dear owner,

Under general conditions which I am aware, you should be eligible to sublet your existing HDB but it is best to seek HDB approval on the sublet first before moving ahead. The Minimum Occupation Period for current flat may also be affected after the decoupling.
