I would like to purchase a Private property while my current HDB flat reached MOP, Can I ask, Is it I can only make the Private property purchase after the completion of the HDB transaction?

Or I am able to purchase the private property as long as the purchaser exercised the OTP for the HDB.

I am checking as for the sale of the HDB, I will need an extension of stay from the purchaser to go hand in hand with the timeline for the purchase.
