I wonder if a property is classified by URA to be conservation, can this property still be appreciating the same way as other types of leasehold or freehold property? I do not understand is that if it's conservation, it means it is preserved by government, and no third party could modify the use of building to let say, enbloc or re-build. Shouldn't the value be stagnant to buyers, and only becomes valuable to the country? My apology if it seems a dumb question, but I just don't know how conservation house can add value to the purchaser, and it also costs higher to renovate and repair the exterior architectural motif etc.
