I was searching for rental property at Farrer Park area and my 1st choice is Soho @ Farrer. However, my agent told me the landlord's agent demands co-broking fee of S$200 on top of full commission from his landlord. However, other rental unit agents' did not have such practice. I have been in Singapore for 5 years and move every year and it is my 1st time hearing it. In PropertyGuru webpage regarding rental, there is also no such conditions. So is this agent Greedy for Money? If this is unethical practice then the government should come after him.
