I was offered a price for a unit at 9th floor but when i checked on ura i saw that there were units within the 6-10th fooor range that was sold 10k lower than the price i was quoted. Can I bargain with the developer for a discount? What are the discounts/freebies I can/should look out for? Also, if the developer offers further discount after i have already purchase, can I claim the difference back from them?

Hi, if you have not paid any deposit, then there is still hope for rooms of negotiation for lower prices. And perhaps I could assist you further to represent you and to negotiate further with the developer. But if you have already made the purchase, then I'm afraid there will be no refund of further claims or discount from developer.

You will not be able to claim back the difference once you have purchased, hence, you will need t be watchful of the price purchased.

May I ask which project you are looking at? Generally we have a working rapport with developers and stand in a better position to negotiate for your price. I have tried similar practices at new projects with my clients and am familiar with the process. Do get in touch for assistance! No fees involved.

Do you have an agent representing you for this property purchase? If you do, he/she should be able to assist you with negotiating with the developer for further discounts.

If you don't have an agent, it's advisable that you engage an agent to assist you with negotiation as this could save you thousands of dollars. Moreover, no agent fees are payable as you are purchasing a private property!
