I was interested in the a room listed here and I contacted the agent that listed the room. He did not actively respond to interests and questions about the room. Because it took so long for them to reply each messages, he never give information about anything regarding the room, deposit dates etc. It is really hard to communicate with him because I had to message him multiple times for him to answer and its frustrating because I really wanted to rent that room as if it is my only option. He never said anything about agency fee price at first. But when we were about to sign contract he said the agent fee is equivalent to one month’s room Rental which is around $2,000 with GST. The agent is very unprofessional and I’m very unhappy with the treatment I received from them. I knew that there is agent commission fee that needs to be paid but I feel like his effort doesn’t match the money that I’m going to pay. That is why I am having a hard time about this fee because of his mistreatment towards me as his possible client. What do I do?
