I viewed a rental private unit recently and I like its location, layout and price very much. However, I can only shift out of my current place in late Oct. Is it ok to rent it first to secure the good rental price, then find another tenant to occupy it for 6 mths before I shift in myself later this year? Is this allowed by government?
