I understand the new CEA rule prohibits dual representation by agents. If I want to buy or rent a property, does it mean that I have to look for my own "buyer agent" to contact the "seller agent", instead of calling the seller agent directly?

Afternoon Winnie,

Under the new CEA ruling, you, as a buyer or tenant, have the rights, to contact the seller agent or landlord agent, by yourself.
However, you would have to settle the administration side of the transaction, by yourself, as dual representation is not allowed.

Feel free to contact me, if you require any futher assistance.

By "administration side of the transaction", do you mean there has to be 2 agents to sign the contract to purchase/rent? Thanks.
