Hi Ms Xav Ang,

It largely depending on your agent which you engage. We are professional consultant and according to CEA guideline, there is no fixed commission computation except market practice and time & resource needed to find you a place to stay.

Good luck with your search

Hi Ms Ang,

I am afraid the generic understanding is wrong although it works out to be correct if tenure of rental works out to be 1 or 2 years.

The general charges a salesperson is half month worth of rental fees for lease 1 year and below and 1 month worth of rental fees for leases 2 years and below. GST maybe applicable if the agency the salesperson represent is GST registered. I have recently closed a fair bit of rental therefore if you are looking for assistance in a rental transaction, perhaps I can assist?
