I stay at 5 rooms hdb. I would like to rent out 3 of my rooms. Is there any restriction on this as i heard from my friend that i am only allowed to rent out 2 bedrooms? is it true? Also, i am looking for agent to help me rent out my room.

Evening Nancy,

Some 5 room flats comes with 4 bedroom, hence you will be eligible to rent out three of it while staying in the fourth. However, if you have not fulfilled you MOP and your unit have only 3 bedrooms, you can only rent out two bedroom instead of three.

Hi Nancy, the correct term would be you are allowed to rent out all the rooms except for one that you would need to occupy it. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.
