i responded to a penthouse unit in Naturalis condo in Nov 2012. The agent represented the developer and told me it was the last unit from developer. We negotiate and agreed on the selling price. The agent gave us the OTP an collect the 1% cheque. I then proceed to sell my current house and got it sold in that weekend. The next week, the agent said as that was a unit direct from developer, they should have given me the Sales & Purchase form and collect 5% cheque. But the developer had not done the necessary paperwork to get the issue of title from URA and hence, cannot rpovide me with the new S&P (new ruling fro URA in 2012). The developer also reject my request for a letter from them indicating they will sell the unit to me at the agreed price once the issue of title is done. Can someone here advise what recourse can i take against this unethical developer and agent? I went to URA but was of no help.
