I rented a room in private apartment from someone who rented whole unit from owner and sublet to me.(is it legal?)week later landlord said he is limiting usage of aircon.when i said agent told me i have free usage he said agent told him he has the right to do so even its not stated in tenancy agreement. agent lied that he told me! We shared toilet and as their door is spoilt when we using toilet they would enter.agent said landlord complain i close my door whole day and use aircon whole day. first week i was working or not staying there. he controlled the aircon afterthat how could i on aircon whole day!can agent act for both parties althoug he denied taking comm and just helping a friend does agent need to reveal their friendship? Do i have the right of privacy in toilet n room?Can landlord enter our room can i close my roomdoor for privacy?agent said not his job to tell me my right or help me after i rented?what authorities i can complain n seek help, can sue them?
