Good afternoon Sathish, there are a few ways to avoid paying additional buyer stamp or taking refund back from IRAS. 1) you can choose to sell your HDB flat first (OTP signed) then purchase a condo. So time your purchase and sale at the right time so you will not be subject to ABSD. 2) Purchase condo first, pay ABSD. Sell off HDB within 6 months from completion to get refund from IRAS.
