I moved into SG last year in Oct. I met a girl looking for housemates on easy roommate.sg. I liked her ad & decided to move in with her for a year as soon as I arrived in SG. She didn't do a tenancy agreement with me as she was sub-letting the apartment to me & she didn't want to disclose this to the owner's agent.She is financially stressed now. Recently, the owner's agent asked her about me & the tenancy agreement for sub-letting the house. Consequently, she came to me today with a 24 month rent agreement (instead of 12 months) as she herself has a 24 month agreement for the house being a master tenant. I was shocked & declined to sign it as I agreed only for 12 months. I am pretty sure that she is going to forfeit my deposit of one month. What can I do for now ?
