Morning Mr. Meng,

Every married SC/PR couples or SC singles are only eligible to hold one HDB property. The standard MOP is 5 years. If you remain as PR, and intend to purchase private property after MOP, you are required to sell away your HDB unit. But if you are SC, you are eligible to keep your HDB unit and choose to stay in either property.

Hi Huon Yap,

You can only own a HDB property at any one time.

Btw you have to sell off your HDB if you purchase a private property unless you convert into a SC, then you will be able to hold on to your HDB and private property.
