Stamp duty payable for the purchase of your next property will be 3% - $5400 + 7% of the purchase price.

Supposing you the purchase price of your next property is $800,000
Stamp duty:
Standard Buyer Stamp Duty = 3% of $800,00
= $18,600
Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) = $56,000
Total Stamp Duty Payable = $18,600 + $56,000
= $74,600

$24,000 - $5,4000 = $18,600
