I keep hearing agents telling me N facing and such, but does that refer to the door facing or balcony facing? The door blocks out all the sun/noise/etc. So why so bothered about where the door faces? I'm more worried about where my balcony/patio faces. I prefer my balcony to face the East sun. So if I've a patio, is that facing counted if I'm using it as an entrance too?

Good afternoon,

Usually buyers take down directional facing due to fengshui reasons if not they prefer to have afternoon sun (west facing) as the unit will be very warm in the day.

All these directional facing usually refers to the living hall/ balcony unless one specifically requests for main door facing.

Hope my explanation helps!

May I know you are looking to purchase or rent? How can I value add further?
